Valdosta > Criminal Arrested After Falling Through A Ceiling

VALDOSTA — On Wednesday morning, Valdosta Police were searching for 24-year-old Michael T. Robinson when he fell from his hiding place in the attic above them. Robinson was hiding in the attic of an apartment on 1616 E. Moore Street when the ceiling collapsed.

Robinson was involved in a shooting on Wednesday at the Citgo station on North Forrest and Ricardo Street. Police have been searching for him since Wednesday after he fled the scene. He was not injured during the shooting.

The VPD received a tip about where Robinson was staying, and after falling through the ceiling he was arrested at the scene. He was arrested for outstanding arrest warrants, and charged for hiding from officers and damaging an apartment.

Robinson is being held at Lowndes County Jail at this time.

Police are still searching for the other man in the car during the shooting with Robinson, 33-year-old Christopher Tooley, who has been classified as armed and dangerous. Please contact 911 immediately with any information regarding Tooley’s whereabouts.

The victims that were shot, Deshay March and a 15-year-old juvenile were treated and are in good condition. March was sent to Lowndes County Jail after treatment.
