CLYATTVILLE– At the February meeting of the Lowndes County Board of Education, Clyattville Elementary Assistant Principal Tenry Berry was named as the GREAT award winner.

GREAT is an acronym for Gratitude, Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Attitude, and Teamwork and represents a monthly award recognizing outstanding achievement of Lowndes County Schools’ employees and students.

From the multiple nominations Mr. Berry received, one wrote, “He always goes above and beyond for our students. His job is very demanding, but he always keeps calm, even in the most trying situations. Mr. Berry makes everyone feel valued: from the staff all the way down to the youngest child.”

GREAT winners are recognized by the Board of Education and given a gift certificate from the Lowndes Education Improvement Foundation.
