A police helicopter pilot was recently flying when his cell phone had an alert from his home’s Ring doorbell camera at around two a.m.
The cam showed three teenagers outside his home, trying to break into a truck in his driveway. The pilot then contacted police on the ground and began to track the teens using the helicopter’s night vision camera.
Thanks to the pilots help, police were able to locate the teenagers and eventually stop them using spike strips. Not only did officers find stolen wallets in the vehicle, the vehicle itself was stolen. The teens are now facing multiple charges.
