TALLAHASSEE — The Leon County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) says a woman accused of stealing from her clients has been arrested.
According to a release sent out by LCSO, 45-year-old Pamela Schmitt, 45 of Crawfordville, turned herself in to the Wakulla County Jail on outstanding arrest warrants.

Schmitt has since been released on bond.
Earlier this week, LCSO sought the public’s assistance in locating Schmitt, who had stolen over $6,000 from clients of her business, Absolute Maid Service.
Deputies told WCTV that Schmitt has stolen items from at least three of her customers.
“It’s three people who have reported thefts,” said case detective Paul Salvo in a WCTV report. “There may be more out there.
Sometimes people don’t look at their jewelry everyday, they may take it out on special occasions or something so people just might not know right now or people just think they misplaced it.”
Deputies say when confronted by one of the victims, Schmitt claimed a ring fell into her wash bucket.
