LOWNDES CO – The Viking Touchdown Club is preparing for the beginning of the season with information on meetings and broadcasts.

The Viking Touchdown Club meets during the season on each Monday following a game. The Club meets in the meeting rooms 1 and 2 of the Board of Education. Members should use the side entrances facing the parking lot to enter the meetings. Meetings begin at 6:00 pm and a list of the dates are below. Meetings are open to all members and every member is welcomed. Attending meetings is a great way to show your support and obtain the latest information on your Vikings.
The meeting after the Central Gwinnett will be on Tuesday because of the Labor Day Holiday. The September 16 meeting will be before an open date, but the Club will meet to plan for the Sportsman Banquet on September 21. There will be no meeting on October 14 – Columbus Day Holiday/Fall Break/Open Date.
The Voice of the Vikings Coaches show will return to Smokin’ Pig on Wednesdays from 6:45 to 8:00 pm. The weekly shows will begin on Wednesday August 14, 2024. There will be no show on Wednesday, September 18 because of the Sportsman Banquet on Saturday, September 21.
The Vikings will continue to partner with Black Crow Media to bring you the audio broadcast of each game. There are a couple of open sponsorships available for the season broadcast package. Remember the Vikings begin the 2024 year this Friday, August 2, when they travel to Thomas County for a preseason contest against TCC. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm and tickets are on sale at the ticket office.
