VALDOSTA – Valdosta City Schools releases the PreK and Kindergarten registration schedule for the 2024-2025 school year.

Everyone residing in the Valdosta City Schools’ zone! Get ready, it is time to register for the 2024-25 school year!
Date: Thursday, February 29, 2024
Time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Location: Boys & Girls Club, 215 West North Street, Valdosta
Online registration opens the same day! No need to wait in line if you register online.
Important Details:
PreK applicants must be 4 years old by September 1
Kindergarten applicants must be 5 years old by September 1
Students must live in specific elementary school zones (details below)
Note: PreK students currently enrolled in Valdosta City Schools do not need to register for Kindergarten.

Required Documents to Complete Enrollment:
- Certified/Official birth certificate of child
- Copy of child’s Social Security card or signed waiver
- Shot record on GA Certificate of Immunization (Form 3231)
- Certificate of Eye, Ear, Dental, and Nutrition Examination (Form 3300) (Records may be obtained at the Health Department Monday-Friday)
- Proof of residence within the school district
Minimum of TWO current documents from the following list is required for all students:
- Current utility bill with parent’s name and address (MUST BE ONE FORM OF PROOF);
- Rental agreement with parent’s name, address and children living in the home; and/or
- Mortgage statement or payment booklet with parent’s name and address.
The 2024-25 VCS Academic Calendar will be adopted at the Tuesday, February 27, 2024 Valdosta Board of Education Work Session.
