VALDOSTA – The Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority is partnering with local organizations to provide shoes to children in need.

The Kappa Psi Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is working to partner with local organizations and individuals to provide shoes to children in need. Each year Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and Sigma Public Education and Research Foundation (SPEAR) teams up to provide new shoes to children in local homeless shelters. Over 31,000 children are homeless and without shoes.

The 9 newly inducted Kappa Psi Sigma Chapter members state “Soles for Little Souls is stepping towards a brighter future, one small footprint at a time.” Distribution will take place simultaneously nationwide on February 22, 2024. Kappa Psi Sigma Chapter will provide shoes for local children who are in need at Turner County Elementary School Classroom in Ashburn, Georgia.
