VALDOSTA, Ga. – Valdosta City Schools congratulates the 2019-2020 Martin Luther King, Jr. Poster Contest Winners. These students will be recognized during the annual MLK Youth Program at Mathis City Auditorium on Monday, January 20, 2020, at 11 a.m.

In addition, they will be recognized during the January 28 Valdosta Board of Education work session that will be held at Horne Learning Center beginning at 7 p.m.

Elementary School Division:

• FIRST PLACE: Lyric Garrett – 5th grade – S.L. Mason Elementary School

• SECOND PLACE: Rosselyn Peralta Rayon – 5th Grade – Pinevale Elementary

• THIRD PLACE: Josephine Johnson – 4th Grade – Sallas Mahone Elementary
