According to WCTV news, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into the incident in Lanier Country Wednesday afternoon that started with a home invasion, evolved into a vehicular chase, and ended in an officer-involved shooting. The homeowner, suspect and officer were sent to the hospital; the deputy, on her first day with the Lanier County Sheriff’s Department, was treated and released.
