VALDOSTA, GA – On Monday, the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office posted to their official Facebook page that they had received inquiries about the Kendrick Johnson investigation.

The post said that, “some of the information being disseminated by social media is simply not accurate.” Additionally, saying that Sheriff Paulk had met with the Johnson family to address any new information, and that he has sent a letter of request to the United States Attorney seeking the release of the federal investigative file. A copy of that letter and its reply was included with the post.
