Running from police rarely works out. Especially when your hiding place has a limited oxygen supply!
Last Wednesday, police in Stacy, Minnesota received a complaint from a mobile home park that a 26-year-old woman named Jessie Knickerbocker was there despite being banned from the property.
Knickerbocker’s parents live at the mobile home park, so when the police arrived they checked the residence. When they asked her father where Jessies was, he said she was safe. LITERALLY! It seems Jessie tried to hide from police and got locked inside her parent’s gun safe.
The safe was around five feet tall, 20 inches deep, and 28 inches wide. To complicate matters, Jessie was running out of air and her dad could not get the safe’s door open. Police officers were eventually able to pry it open and found Jessie inside, crouching and sweaty. She was arrested for trespassing.
