VALDOSTA, Ga. – On Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at approximately 10:39 a.m., Valdosta Police Department Officers responded to the intersection of Jaycee Shack Road and Inner Perimeter Road in reference to a traffic accident.

Upon arrival officers determined a vehicle was traveling north on Jaycee Shack Road. The driver of this vehicle attempted to cross over Inner Perimeter Road, in front of a vehicle traveling east on Inner Perimeter when the accident occurred.

Occupants of both vehicles were transported to South Georgia Medical Center by EMS. At this time, the police department has this area closed off to traffic for the investigation.
