VALDOSTA, Ga. – On Thursday, August 8, the Valdosta Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at 1905 Fawnridge Rd. The call came in through dispatch at 2:01 a.m. Fire department units arrived on scene within six minutes to find smoke and flames coming out of windows on both floors of the two story building. The fire was quickly extinguished by crews on scene.

There were a total of 16 Valdosta firefighters on the scene. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
