VALDOSTA – Two days and too little time to catch nearly 200 vendors at Valdosta and Lowndes County’s 17th annual Azalea Festival.
Five-year-old Justin Morgan says his favorite part is riding the electric bull.
“I like that it swings me,” says Morgan.
The weekend is full of vendors, food, games, and even exotic animals, like Oscar the sloth from Wild Adventures.
Sunday, the theme park entertained the crowd with hula hooping, limbo and Oscar.
“Everybody is so intrigued by him, and he’s a really cool animal,” says Laurie Windham, with Wild Adventures.
Speaking of animals, another family-favorite is the Disc-connected K-9s.
With flips and twists, these dogs can bring a crowd, including Kamrin and his 2-year-old son, Isaiah.
“In a town like ours, you don’t get a lot like this,” says Kamrin Naville. “It’s something to look forward to every year.”
It’s a festival where parents and little ones can have fun.
