VALDOSTA – Seventh grade students from Newbern Middle School traveled to the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta recently.

Students participated in an exciting program called “Mythbusters: Shark and Stingray Edition.”

The NMS students were excited to tour various exhibits, where they learned about the many aquatic animals from around the world.

They also attended the AT&T Dolphin Celebration and were able to interact with stingrays. The day was educational and entertaining as they learned truths and debunked myths associated with sharks, stingrays, and other aquatic animals.
