VALDOSTA – The Valdosta Police Department is investigating a homicide.
Valdosta Police Chief Brian Childress says it occurred around 7:45 p.m. Monday in the area of Ora Lee West.
VPD says when they arrived on scene they found an African American male shot and deceased. The victim’s name has not yet been released.
Authorities are interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance video.
