VALDOSTA – The River will headline the Nashville South Jams Concert at Horse Creek Winery on October 22nd.

The River was formed in the spring of 1994 when several South Georgia, many from Berrien County, came together for an informal jam session.

The Nashville South Jams Concert will feature the original band members from The River, Todd Griffin (lead vocals), Matt Hughes (bass guitar), Patrick Best (drums), Wally Colwell (guitar) and Henry McGill (lead guitar & vocals). Nashville South Jams will also feature Blake Brown, a Valdosta based artist of the former band Little Brown Peach and Nashville, Georgia based artist Brent Browning who now headlines shows at Tooties Orchard Lounge in Nashville, Tennessee.

Horse Creek Winery will open its gates for the concert at 6:30 pm. Blake Brown will kick off the show at 7 pm, followed by Brent Browning at 8 pm and The River will take the stage at 9 pm.

Reserved seating is available, $300 for a table of 10 (limited availability) and general admission tickets are $15 per person in advance and $20 at the gate the night of the event.
