HAHIRA – A Hahira restaurant was damaged by fire early Tuesday morning.

At approximately 3 a.m., The Hahira Fire Department responded to the Church Street Cafe at 107 S. Church St. to find the restaurant consumed by smoke.

The blaze was brought under control in under an hour, but the building was heavily damaged.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire, which may have been electrical.
