On a recent trip to Florida, there was a stopover here. Dinner with two of Valdosta’s celebrated quarterbacks — John Lastinger and Greg Talley — brought about reminiscing, not only with respect to their careers, but the tradition that the late Wright Bazemore built and the long list of quarterbacks who have distinguished themselves in these parts and beyond.
