LOWNDES CO.- TSgt. CheLeta Brown is in the the U.S. Air Force and has been serving overseas for the past six months.

On Friday, around 900 students, including her son, Ian, participated in games for Field Day at Lowndes Middle School.

As weeks of planning unfolded, the Principal escorted Brown to surprise her son in front of everyone at the school’s gymnasium.
