With potentially damaging storms expected to move into South Georgia tonight and tomorrow, some schools systems are closing. ValdostaToday will report the closings as they are announced.

The following school systems are closed for Wednesday, February 24:

Brooks County Schools

Cook County Schools

Berrien County Schools

Lanier County Schools

Echols County Schools

Highland Christian Academy

Lowndes County Schools

Valdosta City Schools

Georgia Christian

Clinch County Schools

Scintilla Charter Academy

Valdosta State University, GMC and Wiregrass will have delayed openings. Classes will resume at 12 noon at all three schools.
