CORDELE — An armed gunman, wearing a mask, robbed a Cordele store early Saturday morning.

WALB is reporting the gunman robbed Mitchell Bait & Tackle at 902 West 16th Avenue in Cordele about 8:00 Saturday morning.

A shot was fired as the gunman demanded money.  No one was injured.

The thief left the store with an unknown quantity of cash.
