CORDELE — An arrest has been made related to the shooting of a woman Friday night.

Reports state Cordele Police have made an arrest related to the shooting of a Cordele woman which occurred at Morningside Homes on Blackshear Road.

Reports from WALB state Davarius Neal, 22, has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting of Chyna Johnson, 18.  The incident occurred as a result of an argument with Neal’s mother.

Neal is being charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, criminal damage to property,and reckless conduct.

Johnson’s wounds were not fatal is expected to make a full recovery.
