ALBANY — Two men were arrested in connection to an armed robbery at 3:30 a.m. on Friday, according to a WALB report.

Ted Daniels, 59, stated to police that while in the 200 block of West Tift Avenue, he observed a tan two-tone van ride by and then circle around.

He stated that then an unknown person got out of the van and approached him with a pistol, demanding money.

The report stated Daniels told police that he did not have any money, however, the suspect took his backpack and fled the scene.

Daniels called 911 and gave the description of the van where the suspect fled.

Carl Randle Jr., 21, and Rajan Childs, 38, were arrested after they were located in the suspected vehicle. which was parked at Phoebe Putney Hospital shortly after the incident.
