TIFTON — Another school was placed on lockdown Friday related to a suspected shooting incident.

WALB is reporting the incident occurred around noon on Friday in Tifton at a housing complex.  The complex is near Charles Spencer Elementary School, forcing school officials to place the school on lockdown.

The specific location of the incident was near Elm Lane and Bellview Avenue behind Puckett Park, according to the report.

The report sources a law enforcement official who stated a Tifton Police Officer heard gunshots while on patrol.  However, 911 did not receive a call related to a shooting.
