MOULTRIE — Two developers are battling over placing a Publix in Moultrie.

The new store’s construction is being delayed by a court case between two developers.

Teramore Development and Publix have already signed an agreement to construct the store in Moultrie, according to a report from WALB.

However, another development firm is stating the bidding and sales process was conducted illegally and are attempting to have the county rebid the project’s property.

The case begins this week in Moultrie at the Colquitt County Courthouse.
