TIFTON — More information is being sought by police related to the death of a pedestrian over the weekend in Tifton.

Jannie B. Lester, 62, was struck by a vehicle and killed as she was walking on Armour Road, between Belmont Avenue and Tyson Avenue in Tifton.

Tifton Police are asking the public for any information they may have regarding the incident.  The victim was found by another motorist who alerted 911.
