TIFTON — Fire Department personnel from Tifton, Tift County, and Ty Ty responded to a house fire Sunday night.

The fire, at 103 Dorsey Road in Ty Ty, took the life of the home’s resident, Lane Brown, 73, according to reports from WALB.

Once the fire was contained, fire fighters removed a body found in the home.
