VALDOSTA — Police are searching for suspects related to auto dealership and body shop break-ins and grand theft.

Late Monday night, a person or persons broke into both Bennett Motors and Pops Auto, stealing 2 cars.  Later that night, there were further break-ins of vehicles at Langdale Kia causing damage to the steering columns of two cars.

Police believe the incidents are connected.

“Right now, we’re not gonna go into what was used to bust out windows because there is some similarity so detectives and crime scene folks are working, trying to draw an inference there and put that together,” Valdosta Police Department Cpt. Bobbi McGraw told WALB in an interview.

The two stolen vehicles were recovered Tuesday morning with minor damage.  Police are currently studying surveillance videos to help identify suspects.
