According to a new seasonal study, Savannah, Georgia, is considered to be as cozy for the fall season as Orlando, Florida and Providence, Rhode Island, all ranking in joint 8th. 

BetMGM Casino’s new study ranks 18 top autumnal cities for their cozy, sweater-weather feel and ‘pumpkin spice is in the air’ vibe. The study analyzed five key variables associated with fall and coziness in each city:

• Venues: The number of farmers’ markets, pumpkin patches, cafes, coffee shops, and bookstores, offering plenty of fall-themed activities.
• Nature: The number of parks and lakes, perfect for early morning strolls and weekend walks.
• Fall Foliage: The vibrancy and intensity of fall foliage colors throughout the season.
• Rainfall: The amount of rain a city receives during fall—the more rain, the cozier the atmosphere.
• Temperature: How cool the temperatures are during the fall—the cooler it gets, the cozier it feels.

Savannah’s low number of seasonal venues, low fall foliage color offering and warmer seasonal temperatures of 69°F brought down the ranking.
