LOWNDES CO. – The Vikings football spring practice events have been rescheduled because of the championship state baseball finals.

Because of the championship state baseball finals that begin on Friday May 17, the Vikings football spring practice events have been moved forward one day. All the spring scrimmages will now be held on Thursday, May 16 at Martin Stadium.
Events will begin at 4:00 pm Thursday on Joe Wilson Field at Martin Stadium. The schedule is as follows.
3:00 PM – Gates Open. Admission is $5 per person and only the home side north end gate will be open. Tickets will be sold at the gate only – $5 cash. Concessions will be open.
4:00 PM – Middle schools will scrimmage
5:00 PM – JV and 9th grade scrimmage
6:00 PM – Varsity Workouts and Competitions
6:20 – Spring Game – White (offense) vs Crimson (defense)
Crimson/Defense is spotted 21 points.
Crimson/Defense scores 3 points for turnovers, 4th down stops, or missed fieldgoals.
Crimson/Defense scores 7 points for defensive touchdown or safety
White/Offense scores standard points for touchdowns and fieldgoals
Scrimmage will consist of four 8-minute quarters.
