VALDOSTA – The Southside Library Boosters will hold Valdosta’s 32nd Annual Juneteenth Celebration with a Writing Contest included.

The Southside Library Boosters are currently planning “Valdosta’s 32nd Annual Juneteenth Celebration” to be held June 14th and 15th, 2024. This year’s program will include a “Writing Contest” – 1 page essay, short story, or poetry. The theme is “We are family.” The focus of the entry should address “Why our community should celebrate Juneteenth.”

The entry deadline is Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 5:00pm. Email to barblake0602@icloud.com.
