Seaman Chase Jones, from Valdosta, Georgia, uses binoculars to scan the horizon for contacts while standing aft lookout watch aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Hopper (DDG 70). Hopper, assigned to Carrier Strike Group ONE, is deployed to U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
