Mayor Keisha Bottoms of Atlanta has ordered that a wide variety of social venues within the city’s limits be closed to slow the spread of COVID-19. This Executive Order includes the mandatory closure of bars, nightclubs (ones not serving food), gyms, fitness centers, movie theaters, live performance venues, bowling alleys, arcades, and private social clubs.

Also, restaurants are being required to cease any and all dine-in services. They may only provide their food services through drive-through, delivery, or take-out. However, nursing homes and hospitals are free from these restrictions and able to operate normally.
