THOMAS Co. – The Thomas County Sheriff’s Office confirms that at least one person is dead following a two-vehicle crash.

Authorities say the crash happened around 2:40 p.m. Thursday.

The northbound lanes of Hwy 19 in Thomas County north of Ochlocknee were closed for several hours as crews cleared the scene.

Police have not yet released the identity of the person killed.
