VALDOSTA – Valwood School will welcome teams and athletes on Saturday May 14th to their third annual 3v3 soccer tournament, Valwood Summer Kickoff.

Valwood School will welcome teams and athletes on Saturday May 14th to their third annual 3v3 soccer tournament, Valwood Summer Kickoff. Soccer is the most popular sport in the world, and 3v3 soccer is the fastest growing form of soccer. As a fast-paced game on a small pitch, each player gets several touches on the ball and is higher scoring than a full-sided game.

Valwood Summer Kickoff offers registration for players ages six through adult in multiple divisions for teams up to six players. Registration costs $125 per team. Check in begins at 730am and first game begins at 8am with most teams playing four games. Every participant will receive a medal and a tshirt with a design by a Valwood art student. Full concessions will be available (cash only). In addition, Cross Critters Rescue, an animal rescue organization, will be onsite offering services to microchip pets. Participants who bring donations for their organization will be offered a free dessert item from concessions.
