LOWNDES CO., Ga.— Lowndes County Schools has released their current COVID-19 exposure levels. LCS reports, “For the past 14 days, Lowndes County Schools positive COVID 19 cases of faculty and students is .1% compared to the Lowndes County community data reported by the Department of Public Health of .3%.”

So far, the exposure measured in comparison to total persons breaks down as follows:

• 10,055— Total # students in LCS
• 13— Total # students with a positive COVID-19 status
• 73— Total # students quarantined for possible exposure
• 1,390— Total # of Lowndes County Employees
• 5— Total # of Employees with a current positive COVID-19 status
• 19— Total # of Employees quarantined for possible exposure
