VALDOSTA – The Valdosta High School math team recently competed in a regional math competition.

The team won first place overall, Albert Kang won first place individual and Chunjin Park won third place individual at the Valdosta State University 2016 Math Tournament.

Over fifteen high school teams from around the area competed in the annual event. VHS students competing were Amanda Carter, Jimmy Loud, Chunjin Park and Albert Kang with coach Laura Brehm.
