VALDOSTA – Police have identified the victim in a deadly Sunday night shooting in north Valdosta.
According to the Valdosta Police Department., officers responded to the shooting at a home in the 2400 block of Knox Drive in around 9:45 p.m. Sunday, where they found 25-year-old Brian Keith Moore dead at the scene.
We’ve also learned Moore was the brother of Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker and former FSU football player, Telvin Smith.
Police say the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and not random, according to evidence. They’re currently investigating the scene and looking for persons of interest in the shooting.
Police ask anyone with any information regarding the case to contact the Valdosta Police Department.
