LOWNDES Co. – Lowndes High School graduation rates fell from last year but are still higher than in past years, according to a presentation given this week to the Lowndes County Board of Education.

2016 graduation rates have dropped about 1 percent from 2015, but the graduation rate has risen steadily overall from 67 percent in 2011 to 86 percent in 2016.
