LOWNDES Co. – Lowndes County officials have released a presentation explaining the Service Delivery Agreement which has become an issue of contention between the county and its municipalities and could end up in the courts.

The presentation was created to help explain what a service delivery agreement is and highlight the areas of concern brought to the county by the City of Valdosta.

Valdosta officials released a statement Wednesday rejecting the latest proposal from the county and asked for an extension so negotiations can continue.
