VALDOSTA – Three Valdosta murder suspects are scheduled to face trial in two separate cases in September.
Ricky Barron III and Andreah Mitchell were indicted for the October 2014 shooting death of Timothy Linder, 40.

Linder was shot in what Valdosta Police Chief Brian Childress described as a “robbery gone bad.” He was at his home in the 1700 block of Marion Street when he was approached by Barron and two other people with the intent to rob him, Childress said.
Barron was 16-years-old at the time of his arrest.
Barron was indicted for felony murder, armed robbery and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to court documents.

Mitchell, who allegedly drove Barron to Linder’s house, was indicted for the same charges: felony murder, armed robbery and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to court documents.
The third person, Angel Clark, was indicted for armed robbery and tampering with evidence in connection with the shooting.
In a separate case, Freddie Finnisee Jr. will face trial for the murder of his mother, Diane Calhoun-Perry, 61.
On December 14, 2015 at approximately 7:37 a.m., patrol officers with the Valdosta Police Department and Firefighters with the Valdosta Fire Department responded to the 100 block of Perry Lane in reference to a report of a residential fire.
Upon arrival, they were able to locate a residence in the 100 block of Perry Lane that was on fire. While extinguishing the flames, Valdosta Firefighter personnel found Calhoun-Perry deceased in the residence.
Barron, Mitchell and Finnessee will face trial September 26 at the Lowndes County Judicial Complex, according to court documents.
