JACKSONVILLE — A teenaged girl was shot in the chest by a young man on Thursday.
Leroy K. Bostick, 20 of Jacksonville, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and violation of probation, according to a report in the Florida Times Union.
Bostick was involved in an argument with the 14-year old girl, Garianna Hargrove, which resulted in his shooting her in the chest.
The argument, which occurred Thursday afternoon, involved several people at the 5100 block of Shannon Avenue.
