
ALBANY — Two Albany juveniles will be tried as adults after robbing a convenience store.
The juveniles, 14-year-old Shandon Ellis and 16-year-old Donell Knight were charged with armed robbery on Friday.
On Monday, 17-year-old Kenneth George Jr. was arrested and charged alongside Ellis and Knight.
The three robbers were caught on surveillance at Woodall’s on North Slappey Blvd., on Wednesday morning. In the video they were wearing masks and holding everyone in the store up by guns.
In the state of Georgia, armed robbery is a mandatory minimum of 10 years to life in prison.
