VALDOSTA — There’s a new buzz around Hahira these days thanks to the students in Wiregrass Georgia Technical College’s Auto Collision Repair program.

William Thomas and Robert Cannon took a bumble bee that was part of a former children’s ride at Wild Adventures and can gave the bee a new look! The two students reconditioned the bee and re-painted it to look brand new. After bringing the bee back to life it was obvious where the bee need to reside, Hahira.

Wiregrass donated the refurbished bee to the city of Hahira in honor of their Annual Honeybee Festival. The bee can be seen downtown on West Main Street.
