VALDOSTA, Ga. – Get ready for the 16th Annual “Lights Camera Action Broadway Camp” for ages 4-18, brought to you by Amanda’s Models & Talent.
If your child has ever dreamed of being on Broadway or just enjoys being the center of attention and the joy of being on stage or needs to boost their self-confidence, this camp is for your child.
Campers will be divided into groups according to age, and will learn scenes from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
The weekend will end with a group performance for parents and friends on Saturday, December 21st at 6:30 p.m.
The camp will be held Friday, December 20 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, December 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
AGENDA FOR CAMP:
Schedule: Friday, December 20
• Early Drop off begins at 12:30 p.m.
• Camp begins at 1:00 p.m.
• Warmups and Ice Breaker Games
• Theatre Rules
• Break into age groups with instructors
• Bathroom Break
• Hear songs and receive lyrics
• 3:30-14:00 p.m.: Break…please bring a snack. Water/juice and a healthy snack are suggested. There will be extra just in case someone may have forgotten their snack bag
• Bathroom Break
• Learn the Opening Number. Walking on stage and Slate (Introducing yourself)
• 5:15 p.m.: Gather belongings and get into a giant circle for easy pick up procedures.

• Camp begins at 9:00 a.m.
• Individual photo shoot: Please wear a solid color shirt…bright is always great

• 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. Break…please bring a snack. Water/juice and a healthy snack are suggested. We always bring extra just in case someone may have forgotten their snack bag

FINALE SHOW: 6:30 p.m.
Special Notes:
• No Flip Flops. Please wear comfortable shoes…we love tennis shoes!
• No Gum
• Parents are not permitted to stay daily. Children always behave better for others
• Remember to bring a snack and drink each day
• Comfortable clothes. Dresses are so very cute, but please keep in mind that they will be moving A LOT so shorts and T-shirts may be the better option.
• Everyone will receive printed lyrics the first day of camp to practice at home throughout the week.

There is a $5 admission fee for each person attending the camp finale
Each STAR will need to bring his/her own snack each day.
The camp is available to ages 4 to 18.
Camp will be at The Performing Arts Center at the old VHS
Cost: $75.00 per STAR!
You will pay $50 now and $25 the first day of Camp!

Each STAR receives their own Professional Photo Shoot and a performance for family and friends!
