VALDOSTA — Airmen, aircraft and support equipment from Moody AFB will be heading to Europe to take part in joint NATO exercises.
This Fall, 12 of the A-10 Thunderbolt II’s from the 23rd Wing at Moody will take part in events in Central and Eastern European NATO countries as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve.
According to the Air Force, the mission is designed to demonstrate America’s resolve in meeting security commitments in Europe.
The training will allow Moody personnel to work along side NATO allies and partners, working to strengthen their relationships and knowledge. Further, it will help demonstrate U.S. commitment to Europe’s security and stability.
