VALDOSTA – A Valdosta bank is offering a new service: Interactive Teller Machines that allow customers to bank with a live teller outside normal business hours.

Guardian Bank began using the new Interactive Teller Machines earlier this month. The machines are similar to ATMs (Automated Teller Machines) but feature live video chatting with a bank teller from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., effectively extending the bank’s operating hours.

Guardian Bank is the only area bank that offers the new service.
