VALDOSTA – The Haven encourages people to ‘Chalk About Love’ to raise awareness about teen dating violence.

Chalk About Love is a community awareness campaign created to support Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month in February. Its goal is to spark conversations about healthy relationships and help teens recognize what respectful, safe love looks like. We raise awareness by encouraging participants to write messages such as “Love respects boundaries,” “Healthy love feels safe,” or “Consent matters,” with sidewalk chalk on February 20th. These simple statements help spark conversations and remind teens that love should never involve control, fear, or pressure. We would also love everyone to post a picture and use the tags #TDVAM and #ValdostaHaven on February 20th! This is an amazing way to liven up the streets of Valdosta and the surrounding areas!
