THANK YOU for your support of the Martin Luther King, Jr Commemoration Committee, and the planned events!

We have 2 critical program Updates!!

1)  Sunday, January 18, 2026, 3:00 p.m.

        The Annual Sunday Service will be       

        held at MORNING STAR BAPTIST

        Church – 1051 Howell Road, where 

        the Reverend Naamen Hooker 

        serves as pastor.  Pastor Hooker is 

        the Speaker for the program.

2)  Monday – January 19, 2026, 

         11:00 a.m.

          Performing Arts (PAC) Center 

           3101 Barack Obama Blvd.

          Please join us as the youth from   

          Valdosta and surrounding communities 

          perform their talent(s) — 

          singers, dancers, dramatic artist

          presentations, etc.    

         Don’t Forget your Can Good Donations on Monday —     to be donated  to the LAMP Homeless Shelter.

   3} Poetry and Poster Contest WINNERS will be announced and recognized during the Youth Showcase.

    The programs are FREE and open to the public.
